Gutted to hear that this wonderful business has to close down due to the decline in sales. As another customer has commented on Meeples’ Corner website, I wish I had been a more consistent customer to Christoph.

Chris has served the board gaming community to the highest of levels. Geraint (my partner) and I have a personal connection to Chris at Meeples’ Corner.

At the beginning of mine and Geraint’s relationship over 10 years ago, we went to the UKExpo and met Christoph at his stall. A warm and friendly guy, instantly likeable, with customer service that made you feel like an individual.

Our first ever game we purchased together was Lewis & Clark from Chris, and it was the beginning of our short stint of our online presence in the gaming community as GoingHalvesOnGames.. when Geraint asked me “go halves?” for Lewis & Clark.

We all got talking and Christoph kindly offered to teach us Marco Polo. Since then, I feel like we are more than customers and a friendship has developed. I’m just grateful we met because we have been introduced to so many other wonderful people thanks to knowing Chris.

The last two years we have enjoyed the Devon gaming event which Christoph has organised with The Fox & Hound. It’s always a pleasure to catch up with Chris in person and we really hope to see you at these events or others in the future Chris. Your business was something you can be truly proud of - you set the bench mark for customer service that others ought to strive for.

Stumbled upon Meeples Corner whilst on holiday in Crediton, excellent find and spent an enjoyable morning perusing and building up a fairly impressive stack of acquisitions! Great selection across different genres, from war games and ameritrash to euros and party games, including some harder to find expansions.
