you might as well be your own attorney.. these attorneys are not their to do help anyone. I don't even know this ladies name..she called me and I could not explain why this suet was targeted at me with discrimination... all she talked about is all these request and not enough staff... good thing my freedom did not depend on her being my lawyer.. I didn't need her phone call ..I had to get my papers or proof or evidence then send it a certain way to her.. .they do their job for a check not for their own beliefs in the justice system.. I didnt have to go to law school to defend myself if that is how its done.. if you hire a lawyer out of pocket trust me these telvisionlawyers is not what you get they look at your case five minutes before court and that cash you paid them is already waisted..on that which is why I tried legal aide bcuz I had that experience. call them make them earn that money .

They are very friendly on the phone and seem eager to help but then became very confusing about whether they works actually help, what they would and wouldn't help with as well as who was being helped.

This agency has been contacted several times for help for an elderly lady who had been hospitalized for 5 months due to cancer and while she had been hospitalized her home that she owned (paid off) a few months prior was taken by the trailer park owners and completely cleaned out and taken. When it was time for her to be released she didn’t have a home any more or any of her belongs. This agency was contacted to help and they told her there was nothing they could do and that they refused to help her. This is telling me that this State doesn’t help the elderly with their issues and that is wrong. There is so much more I can say but what’s the point.!

Had a very good experience with the office. Needed some paperwork filed and they went out of their way to accommodate me, being under a Tight time frame.
They copied all the information and I have an over the phone appt soon.

A few years ago I was living in a place that did not do repairs in a timely manner, had power turned off in a all bills paid complex for nonpayment, and managent tried telling my uncle and boyfriend they were not allowed at my place. This were normal duplex house. My place was broken in twice the second time my important papers and art portfolio was scattered all over the apartment. I went to legal aid to get out of the lease, they did a great job helping me. I Would have given them 5 stars for that.

But this time around I was calling just for leagal advice and never got ahold of anyone, phone call, voice message, and e-mail...not even a call back or email reply. It has been a few weeks now. So lost a star for that.

My mother has an issue with a legal matter and had been working with a women by the name of Cornelia. She took my mother's case and had been working with me pretty consistently until they hit a snag. She told my mother that she would be contacting her in a few days to with the next course of action. After my mother didn't hear from her over the course of several days, my mother began calling her and leaving messages only to no avail. I contact their office and left a message for Cornelia to contact my mother. Cornelia finally did only to tell her that she was too busy helping other clients and that she would have to hire an attorney to basically finish what she started. How about referring her to someone in legal aid? Instead you wasted her time and her money filing documents that led NO WHERE.
