100k I sure wish I could get back! Liz Porter is not well-informed in the realm of narcissism and narcissistic abuse nor can she recognize the patterns. Of course, I knew I wasn't fighting a sane person but 2.5 years "divorced" and I am still a prisoner of my ex.
The first time he broke the divorce decree I called Liz and she told me to get counseling. I was appalled. Now they repeatedly send me a bill for $250 for that kind advice! No, I will not pay it!
As for my 62 plus page divorce decree, I might as well burn it! It is as worthless as the paper it is written on.
I will give Liz two stars because she is ethical but doesn't have the fangs necessary to slay a narcissist and she did handle my first divorce well ages ago.
Word to the wise if you want someone that plays dirty and will go to bat for you against an omnipotent evil covert narcissist make sure you find someone that knows how these sick people operate and has proven skills to expose them otherwise you are not only wasting your money you will remain imprisoned by the partner that tried to kill you or I should say (tried to make you kill yourself) so his hands could remain clean.

I cannot emphasize enough what an excellent lawyer Chris Meuse is. Run away as fast as you can from Sherri Evans. This is a predatory and unethical law firm. I went in last year looking to retain a lawyer for a domestic violence issue. I spoke with Sherri Evans who deceived me in multiple ways. But the biggest issue was her insisting I give her a retainer fee without first receiving a retainer agreement. Then when I ask for my money to be returned she tried to bully me into staying with the firm. I had to threaten to get the bar association involved for them to agree to give me my money back. I was referred to this firm by my little sister who they abandoned in court with no forewarning and continue to attempt to debit her bank account for over $13,000 even though they did not go into court with her. They left her very vulnerable as they didn't even prep her to go in alone. Trust me when I say you want to stay as far away from this type of law firm as you can.

I can't say enough about the professionalism and support that Chris Meuse and his team showed me through a difficult period in life. His team didn't just dig in and keep their eye on all the details associated with my case (which they did), they approached my case with compassion and a laser focus on the well-being of my children.

Rebecca Rowan is my super hero. She represented me when my sweet husband, using his lawyer, wanted to gift me items that were previously excluded in our Pre Marital Agreement. Rebecca added significant language to these documents that covered items I would never have realized necessary until it would have been too late.
