Excellent staff. My son's appointment went great. They are very patient and caring. The doctor spoke DIRECTLY to my 12-year-old son and was sure to include him in all discussions. It made him so much more at ease. We usually use the Leland office and have always been beyond pleased. So happy to see the professionalism and caring carries to all locations. Amazing staff.

I’m so grateful to have Dr Travis Jenkins as my Opthamologist. He examined my eyes this past Friday and with his medical expertise found what may be a real problem with my eyes. Without hesitation, he ordered MRI as emergency and I had the MRI yesterday at 9:30am. He ordered some other tests but he knew the MRI was most important. I’m sure if the results are what he thinks may be going on, that I’m in the very BEST HANDS POSSIBLE. With his compassion, medical expertise and spending the time on doing a very thorough examination, I can honestly say without hesitation, that I HIGHLY recommend Dr Travis Jenkins and feel very fortunate to be one of his patients.

As always the WE Team at Mayfaire is welcoming and professional. Dr Hannah DeMarino is totally focused on the patient she’s working with at the moment. She enters the exam room having reviewed my chart and knowing why I have returned. I have confidence and respect for her. Sarah who also worked with me is upbeat with energy while professionally doing her job at 4:30 in the afternoon. Amazing team!

On the plus side the facility is very nice and the doctor is very professional and efficient. On the downside, they overbook so you are constantly waiting. What should be a 30 minute appointment turns into over an hour. What should be a hour turns into two. There is no concern about the patients time just maximizing the doctors. The staff seems under trained. You feel like a number not an individual. Unfortunately this seems to be the way most practices work these days.

This was my first appointment at Wilmington Eye. I was greeted cheerfully upon my arrival. Hannah escorted me to a room and performed numerous vision tests. She was friendly and professional. She answered any questions I had. I was then seen by Dr DeMarino. She listened to my concerns, examined my eyes thoroughly, explained the results and answered questions. Everyone I encountered was professional. It was a very positive experience. I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

Outstanding patient service from the intake person through to the doctor. They are very conscientious, listen fully, and go above and beyond seeking to make sure your needs are fully understood, and are met. I never have felt it’s about the money but patient need. Great job each and every time.

I had an appointment with Dr Jenkins for my dry eye issue. He had no bedside manner. All business. Did not explain things in detail. I asked one question and he answered as if reciting from a text book. I need things explained slowly in layman's terms as many do. I of course want the best Dr. to help me with this matter but I also think there should be a bit of concern for the patient. I asked to be sure there was a copy of appointment details sent to Dr. Catino. It was only then that I was explained all. I can't say enough about Dr. Gill Catino. He always makes me feel at ease and explains things in detail, slowly and with clarity I understand.
