Amazing place with lots of things that you will need all times. Honestly, I am in love with this place and also can live there ?. If you are looking to buy stuff for adventures, this is the right place. Staff are so kind and supportive. One of the places that I really enjoyed while visiting the US. Highly recommended

Very welcoming and grand! Lots of apparel, guns, fishing poles, toys, candles, gift ideas. Anything you need to hunt and enjoy the outdoors. Plenty of staff to accommodate you if you need anything. Camping gear. Ammo. Women’s -Men’s and youth apparel. Conveniently located near Walmart-Sam’s and eateries. Close to I64 and 119. Kayaks and canoes outdoor area.

Great experience, as always! They have the best outdoor, anything, selection you can find. Yes, they are a bit pricey but with outdoor gear, you get what you pay for. I stop in every time I am in Charleston.

The staff at the gun library is awesome working over the phone to get me what I was looking for in the used section and handing the transaction smoothly and efficiently even taking the time to adjust the price accordingly. Top that off with no tax on Firearms and ammo this place is a home run.

It was really fun to go into a Cabela's again, all of the ones near me are fully Bass Pro now. I grabbed a t-shirt for nostalgia. The shelves were stocked, lots of clearance items available, and there was plenty of ammunition available. Friendly employees too.

Lazy Sunday went to Cabellas. My first time. We were greeted like they had known us forever. Looking for a Flyfishing rod and reel and had no clue about Flyfishing. The department head had an employee come over that didn’t know me from the next guy. He stops what he’s doing and shows me not only what I want but what I need, explains the ins and outs and then gives me Flyfishing lessons right there in the store. Shows me flys and how to tie them and just bonus information like you wouldn’t believe. I thanked him tremendously for everything and he says it’s just his job and he loves teaching. How lucky was I? I bought all I needed and then went right back in. I hadn’t had a chance to look at everything they have to offer including the fish tank that has fresh water game fish in it. The tank is the size of a car. The kids were mesmerized, especially at feeding time. The place had everything. If it’s not there (mostly is) it’s in a catalogue or on line. I could have spent the night there and still be looking throughout the store. I loved it. It was GREAT! Like taking a kid to a candy shop. I’m going back. Probably the day after tomorrow. I hope they’re prepared, LOL. Seriously……I’m a hard core outdoors shopper. (You’d think after all the time I spent in there yesterday I would have had at least 1 or two pictures of the place). I’ll do better and come back and post.

The gentlemen working in the bow/crossbow section are terrific. My favorite is the younger dude, he's incredible. I came in wanting a crossbow my 9 year old could operate under supervision. He showed us the perfect option and taught us all how to use it. He explained and allowed her to crank it, showing us she can do it.
We wanted a deer replica target to ensure she can practice shooting what she wants to hunt. He explained the various options, telling us the pros and cons of each.
Extremely pleased with the purchasing experience with the crossbow and related items.
12 Apr - incredible purchasing experience, amazing service from Aaron at the firearms section. Told him what I was looking for in a hunting rifle and my price point, and he took me through the many options. I had planned to buy the scope elsewhere, but Aaron did so awesome and was able to speak about the scopes they had in stock I ended up getting it also. By the time the background check came back it was mounted and ready to go. Good selection with great representatives to help you get what you want.

Previous review from Aug 23 - Went over to the firearms section, stood around and waited, hoping an employee would do their job. Around 10 minutes later an employee finally came around and said he wasn't sure where a torque wrench to install a scope would be, suggesting either the firearms tools section or the optics section. Neither section had the tool, spent my money elsewhere.
