I'm not a resident of NM, but I feel that the DA has brought the charges against Alec Baldwin frivolously, possibly to gain support for those who are law and order proponents.
The way the case has been presented through the DA's office was that Baldwin had no reason to be pointing the revolver in the cinematographer's direction.
Baldwin was, I believe rehearsing the upcoming scene, so yes he would have been pointing the revolver toeing, when a revolver is used in a movie, the stand shot is from an angle that shows there are bullets in the cylinders.
From an amateur film maker's position Baldwin was doing nothing wrong nor out of the ordinary. the

The district attorney really needs to think about the Alex Baldwin case, and dismissing charges, This is definitely not a good thing to do. The case needs to be heard before an actual legal court.
The family of the deceased, should demand this action of the district attorney's office.
Where is the justice to allow a Hollywood actor, to get away with taking the life of a human being.
If the deceased was the district attorney's family member then he or she would want justice through the court system. But I guess if you are famous , have lots of money, then district attorney's offices are not so hard to payoff, so the actor can go free.
My opinion is this district needs a new district attorney to be appointed to replace the scumbag one they have currently.

To: Ian Lloyd, (please forward to Ian)

Regarding: my late THANK YOU letter to Mr. Lloyd.

From: Yvonne Montoya

On May 29th, 2013 I was the defendant and my counsel was Ian Lloyd in magistrate court. I 'm writing to show my gratitude to the BEST public defender in the state. I remember how you researched the laws of "touching the paint" in other near states, I was proud to be your client that day. I'm grateful for all the last minute work and the 100% effort you gave me and the court. I shall always be grateful to you and yours.

My best wishes-

Yvonne Montoya
