At first I thought Val was on top of it, and actually fighting for me and .y babies. Towards the end I realized, she was not at all helping me, but helping the state work against me. She never once met up with me outside of court. She would ask me a bunch of questions as we are walking into court, or 5 minutes before court. She doesn't listen to the answers with 100% attention. She twists my answers, and then tells the court and judge a lie, and when I try to speak up and correct her, she tells me be quiet because we are in open court and if I speak they will hold it against me. After my case, she told me she would help me with another case, and although she did get back to me on it, her paralegal, Missy, still has not gotten back to me. Val told me to contact Missy and we would go from there. Missy just continues to 'ignore' me. I have not gotten one response from her at all. I feel if Val and/or Missy would of spent more time outside of court with me, and followed thru with what I was doing, that the court and my case worker wanted, and helped me with the things I needed help with, the result would of been in my favor. My case worker was absent more than present due to pregnancy and when she would show up to court she had nothing but bad things to say and if Val and or Missy actually defended me and followed thru I believe all the lives involved would be very different.
